One week ago, we added phone service and digital cable to our internet service. Thursday was my birthday. Steve and I went away to Richmond for a couple of days. He spent so much time on the phone arguing with Comcast (they had inadvertently taken our personal modem and then could not be inconvenienced to return it) that I began to wonder if we should cut our trip short. In the end, Steve threatened to file a police report for stolen property and within hours, our modem was returned.
Sheesh.
